Born in Milan, Claudio Descalzi has held the position of CEO at Eni since May 2014. Alongside his role at Eni, he is actively engaged as a member of the General Council and Advisory Board of Confindustria, serves as a Director of Fondazione Teatro alla Scala, and played a pivotal role as the founding CEO of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative. He also contributes his expertise as a member of the National Petroleum Council. Claudio Descalzi’s exceptional leadership has earned him the prestigious Atlantic Council’s Distinguished Business Leadership Award in 2022.
