Leading PayPal, a global fintech giant, Dan Schulman is spearheading transformative innovations in payments and mobile technology. Schulman, a stalwart in the industry since 2014, boasts a rich career history. Before assuming the roles of President and CEO at PayPal, he served as Group President of Enterprise Growth at American Express, overseeing the global strategy for expanding mobile and online payment services, forging new partnerships, and diversifying revenue streams.

Prior to American Express, Schulman led the prepaid group at Sprint Nextel Corporation, following the acquisition of Virgin Mobile USA, where he served as the founding CEO for eight years. He also held the position of President and CEO at Priceline Group, guiding the company through a phase of rapid growth. Earlier in his career, he spent 18 years at AT&T, including as President of the Consumer Markets Division.

Beyond his corporate engagements, Schulman actively participates in various economic organisations, serving on the boards of the Business Roundtable, the World Economic Forum, and The Economic Club of New York. Schulman holds a Bachelor of Arts from Middlebury College and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. His noteworthy achievements have earned him honorary doctorates from Rutgers University and Middlebury College.
