Feedzai, a prominent financial crime software unicorn, has named David Larson, a seasoned executive from Thomson Reuters, as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Larson’s extensive experience in global finance and mergers and acquisitions positions Feedzai to accelerate its mission of using AI-driven technology to combat financial crime.

In his previous role as Chief Strategy Officer at Thomson Reuters, Larson played a key role in driving sustainable growth and overseeing strategic initiatives. With nearly 15 years of experience at Thomson Reuters, he brings a wealth of knowledge in corporate development, financial management, and operational dynamics within large-scale organisations.

Feedzai’s RiskOps platform, founded in 2011, protects approximately a billion people worldwide by analysing over $6 trillion in payments to prevent fraud. Larson’s appointment comes at a critical time as the company aims to further strengthen its position as a market leader in financial crime prevention.

As Feedzai’s new CFO, Larson will be responsible for managing global financial operations and driving strategic initiatives. His expertise in M&A and strategy will be invaluable as Feedzai continues to expand its footprint and explore potential consolidation opportunities in the financial crime prevention industry.

Feedzai’s CEO and co-founder, Nuno Sebastião, expressed confidence in Larson’s leadership abilities and highlighted the company’s bold ambitions for growth. With Larson on board, Feedzai aims to enhance its RiskOps platform and solidify its position as a trusted partner in the fight against financial crime.
