GoCardless Appoints Jolawn Victor as Chief Growth Officer

GoCardless, a prominent bank payment company, has named Jolawn Victor as its new Chief Growth Officer. Victor brings a wealth of experience from her previous C-suite and executive roles at PepsiCo, Headspace, and Intuit, where she served as Vice President and Country Manager of Intuit UK.

In her new position at GoCardless, Victor will spearhead the global ‘Growth Group’, overseeing a team dedicated to SME customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand development. With over twenty years of experience driving growth across North America, Australia, and Europe, Victor is well-equipped to lead GoCardless towards its ambitious growth objectives.

Paul Stoddart, President of GoCardless, expressed his excitement about Victor joining the executive team, highlighting her expertise in growth marketing, product development, and international expansion. He emphasised Victor’s role in strengthening GoCardless’ business as it pursues its growth goals.

GoCardless recently announced plans to acquire Nuapay, a move aimed at enhancing its indirect channel proposition and expanding its disbursement capabilities. Additionally, GoCardless has made significant strides in the open banking space, securing partnerships with central and local governments and becoming the open banking payment provider for platforms like JustGiving.
