Hilton has made significant strides in reinforcing its development leadership in Asia Pacific with the recent appointments of Nong Xia as President of Development for Greater China & Mongolia and Maria Ariizumi as Vice President of Development for South East Asia. These appointments underscore Hilton’s commitment to expanding its footprint and strengthening its presence in key growth markets.

Bringing a wealth of experience from his tenure with H World Group, Starwood, Hyatt, and Groupe Pierre Vacances et Centre Parcs, Nong Xia will spearhead Hilton’s ambitious development strategy in Greater China. With his deep industry and market expertise, Nong aims to drive Hilton’s expansion in a region where the company already boasts over 640 trading properties and an industry-leading pipeline of nearly 800 properties.

Maria Ariizumi, Vice President of Development for South East Asia
Maria Ariizumi’s extensive background from Swire Hotels, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Marriott International, and Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting positions her perfectly to lead Hilton’s growth in SouthEast Asia. This newly-created role highlights the region’s growing significance and Hilton’s commitment to doubling its portfolio here within the next three years.
