Jeff Williams serves as Apple’s Chief Operating Officer, reporting directly to CEO Tim Cook. In this capacity, he holds responsibility for overseeing Apple’s global operations, encompassing customer service and support. Williams leads the highly acclaimed design team and guides the software and hardware engineering endeavours for the Apple Watch. Additionally, he spearheads Apple’s health-focused initiatives, driving innovation and advancements in medical research to empower individuals in managing their health and fitness.

Williams played a pivotal role in Apple’s foray into the mobile phone market with the launch of the iPhone, and since 2010, he has overseen worldwide operations for all Apple products. His leadership also extended to the engineering development of the Apple Watch. Williams first joined Apple in 1998 as the head of Worldwide Procurement.

Before joining Apple, Williams contributed his talents to IBM Corporation from 1985 to 1998, holding various roles in operations and engineering. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Duke University.
