Nordstrom has announced the appointment of Lisa Price as its Chief Human Resources Officer, effective from November 6. Price returns to Nordstrom after serving as the Executive VP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Domino’s Pizza since August 2019. Her previous experience at Nordstrom includes nearly four years with the company, where she held the position of Senior VP and Chief Human Resources Officer. Price also spent over two decades at Starbucks in various human resources roles, including as VP of Partner Resources.

In her new role at Nordstrom, Lisa Price will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment and succession planning, learning and development, recognition and retention, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, as well as total rewards.

Erik Nordstrom, CEO of Nordstrom, expressed confidence in Price’s ability to contribute to the company’s success, emphasising the importance of creating a great employee experience for delivering excellent customer service.

Lisa Price holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in mathematics from Occidental College and a Master of Science in organisation development from American University.

This appointment comes after Nordstrom made several executive leadership appointments in its merchandising and store organisations in September, all of which involved experienced company veterans. Nordstrom operates 350 Nordstrom, Nordstrom Local, and Nordstrom Rack locations.
