Harrisburg-based URL Insurance Group has announced significant additions to its C-suite, appointing Steve Clemens as President, along with Christy Wilbert and Jim McDaniel as Senior Vice Presidents, marking a pivotal moment in the company’s expansion strategy.
With a proven track record of fostering enduring relationships with agents and enabling them to fulfil their clients’ financial objectives, Steve Clemens assumes the role of President. Having ascended through the organisation, Clemens brings invaluable experience, having started as an independent agent and life insurance marketing specialist before rising to the position of Executive Vice President of Life Markets in 2021. Additionally, Clemens holds various leadership roles within NAIFA Greater Harrisburg, including serving on the Board of Directors and as Vice President and President.
Christy Wilbert, who joined URL in 2015 as Director of Medicare, has been appointed Senior Vice President. Renowned for her leadership in driving remarkable growth within the Medicare Offerings Department, Wilbert holds designations as a Personal Lines Coverage Specialist and an Associate in General Insurance.
Jim McDaniel, a stalwart of URL since 2005, steps into the role of Senior Vice President, bringing his expertise in spearheading technological advancements and marketing endeavours. Over the years, McDaniel has been instrumental in leading the company’s branding initiatives, web development, and ensuring robust information security measures. His visionary leadership has played a pivotal role in URL’s sustained growth over nearly two decades, with his responsibilities recently expanding to include overseeing the Operations Department, comprising marketing, technology, commissions, and contracting.
