Evy L. M. Slabbinck is Managing Director at Design-to-Production Zurich, where she is responsible for International Sales, Project Development and Timber Consultancy, alongside her executive leadership role. She works internationally at the intersection of sustainable construction, advanced design technologies and innovation in the built environment.

She recently completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on leadership and sustainability at the University of Cumbria and Robert Kennedy College, complementing her strong technical background with strategic and organisational leadership expertise.

Evy holds a Master of Science in Architectural Engineering from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles, as well as a Master of Science from the University of Stuttgart. Previously, she was a Research Associate and tutor at the Institute of Building Structures and Structural Design (ITKE) at the University of Stuttgart. Her professional experience includes working with leading international practices such as Bollinger + Grohmann and Teuffel Engineering Consultancy, where she contributed as a membrane engineer and computational design specialist to complex international projects.

Her technical interests include structural and parametric design, form-finding, timber construction and bending-active tensile structures. She has published and presented her work at international conferences and in journals and began her doctoral research in 2015 as part of the InnoChain PhD research network, under the supervision of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan Knippers, in collaboration with Foster + Partners and McNeel Europe.

Beyond her executive and technical work, Evy is the founder of HerTableTalk, a network dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in construction, engineering and the built environment. Through HerTableTalk, she promotes dialogue, visibility and education, including outreach initiatives aimed at encouraging girls and young women to pursue careers in engineering.
